On March 16, 1928, Neighbors Credit Union (formerly St. Louis Postal Credit Union) was created in a shoebox and a dream; that every postal worker deserves a helping hand to get more out of life. Today, we've opened our doors to everyone in our surrounding communities. We've become one of the largest and strongest credit unions in Missouri, with over $232 million in assets, and we owe it all to the principles on which our credit union was built. Because we’re more about common sense than dollars and cents. And that starts by helping you make the right financial decisions and doing what’s best for you.
We are a not-for-profit financial institution where every member has a voice in how our credit union works, and how each of us is served. One member, one vote, regardless of how much money each of us saves or borrows. It is the fair and democratic way - and the only way we do business at Neighbors Credit Union. Because that's what being Neighbors is all about.
