Member Service Representative
Location: Jennings Branch

Commercial Business Development Officer
Location: South County Branch
Status: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Commercial Business Development Officer to join our team. The right individual will help us grow our commercial lending and commercial deposits. 

A successful Commercial Business Development Officer profiles business members to identify product and service solutions that meet the financial needs of the member's business, as well as, potential needs for the business's employees, and owners. Key responsibilities for this position include: following up on leads, calling targeted prospects and generating new leads through community involvement. The successful applicant must be relationship oriented and aggressive in business development. Solid knowledge of commercial banking products and excellent interpersonal skills are equally important for this position.

Consumer Loan Underwriter
Location: South County Branch
Status: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Consumer Loan Underwriter with prior experience underwriting auto and personal loans in consumer finance or sub-prime auto industries.

Duties include, but are not limited to: analyzing credit reports, assessing credit risks, structuring loans based on risk and extending credit. Additional duties include:

  • Maintains effective credit granting practices to maximize revenue and minimize loss.
  • Provides information by answering general loan underwriting questions and communicates with multiple third parties regarding loan inquiries.
  • Approves credit line increases by evaluating member records, purchase activity and payment history.
  • Complies with all Federal, State, and local legal requirements
  • Maintains member confidence and protects the credit union by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing departmental goals.
  • Prepares reports as assigned by the Central Processing Manager.
  • Identifies cross sell opportunities and communicates them to branch staff.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree and over two (2) years experience underwriting consumer loans with lending authority limits. Indirect auto lending experience preferred. Experience with Appro system a plus. Equivalent combination of experience and education considered. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required and the ability to make sound lending decisions by following loan policies and procedures. Must be computer proficient. Ideal candidate must also have excellent communication skills, time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, have a strong work ethic, and the ability to identify needs and refer to appropriate products and services.

Support Services Specialist
Location: South County Branch
Status: Full-Time

Duties include:

  • Administration of vehicle titling program, including submission of lien & title application to various states
  • Ensuring Credit Union compliance with all state laws and procedures affecting title administration
  • Responsible for records management program. Minimizes Credit Union risk by ensuring proper storage, imaging, and retrieval of member account and loan documents
  • Providing back up on all positions and tasks related to Support Services

Requirements:

  • 2 – 3 years experience in title administration with extensive knowledge in titling procedures and laws
  • 2 – 3 years experience with records management i.e. imaging, storage, retrieval
  • Experience in a financial institution preferred but not required

Floater Teller
Location: South Region (South County, Fenton and Downtown)
Status: Full-Time

  • Be recognized for your “extra mile” efforts

Successful candidates will have teller or other appropriate cash handling experience. Must be a team player and exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with courtesy, tact and diplomacy. Candidates must be detail oriented and dependable. There will be travel in between the branches as needed for staffing. This could occur on a daily basis.

Full time positions will include medical and life insurance benefits and 401k, as well as sick and vacation time.
