A: Yes! Each individual member's account is insured by the NCUA, National Credit Union Administration, at least $100,000 per account.

Q: Can I pay a check by phone?
A: By using all the numbers at the bottom of your check, you can pay a check by phone. Please insist you give a check number, because a generic check number such as 8999 may not clear your account.

A: Yes! Account information is available with RITA, our account access by phone, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

Q: How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check?
A: After your membership application has been approved, you will receive our routing and transit number and your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to the human resources or payroll department at your company, and your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days. An extra check digit may be required to assure proper routing to your account. Please contact the credit union to find out the appropriate digit.
Q: What is a check digit?
A: The check digit is the extra number that follows your account number. It can be found on the bottom of your checks following the account number or, if you do not have a checking account, you can call one of our locations and we will be happy to get you that digit. The check digit is required so that your Direct Deposit is routed to the proper account.
Q: How do I make a deposit to my account from a remote location?
A: You can do most of your banking by using direct deposit, credit union owned ATMs or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions. We also offer a bank-by-mail service, which allows you to mail non-recurring deposits. Contact us for details on a method that's best for you.
Q: Are wire transfers possible to and from my checking account?
A: Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer or via ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits or credits. Contact us for details.

A: Online banking is a tool that allows you to use a personal computer with an online connection to conduct your banking online.

A: You can view account balances and transaction history, transfer money, and download transactions to a personal financial manager and much more.

eStatements, and pay at least 3 bills each month. If you do not meet these requirements, then it only costs $3.95 a month.
Q: To whom can I pay bills online?
A: You can use
Online Bill Pay to pay anyone from the babysitter to the electric company. The exceptions are tax or other governmental entities, court-ordered payments, payments to payees outside the United States or its possessions/territories, or collection agencies.
Q: How long will it take for my payee to receive my payment?
A: You can schedule payments for a single one-time payment, monthly payment, weekly and semi-monthly payments. You should schedule your payments at least 5 business days prior to the due date for payments made by check. The first time a bill is paid, you will not know if the payee accepts electronic payments. Until the payee information has been updated to indicate electronic payment, you should allow at least 5 business days prior to the due date.
Q: When I pay a bill online, when will the funds be deducted from my checking account?
A: The funds will be deducted from your checking account at 6pm on the scheduled Payment Processing Date.
Q: How much does the eStatements program cost?
A: There is no charge for
eStatements.
Q: How do I view my monthly eStatement?
A: You can access your eStatement by logging into
PCRITA and clicking on the 'eStatements' section located under 'Accounts.' Your monthly email notification will also provide you with instructions.
Q: How long will the statement remain online?
A: There will be a rolling 12 months of statements available.
Q: Can I receive both paper statements and eStatements?
A: No. You are able to save your statement in PDF format to your personal computer or print out a copy of your statement. If you would prefer to stop eStatements and go back to your paper statements, you can go into
PCRITA and select 'Unenroll' from the 'Update Account Data' in the 'eStatements' section.
Q: Will I miss out on the great offers that come with my monthly mailed statement?
A: No. With eStatements, you still get the same inserts that came with your mailed statement, only now they are in a convenient, electronic version!
The online banking service has several effective security techniques that we encourage you to implement when you use the online banking service:
- Never reveal your password to anyone or leave your password anywhere that someone else can obtain and use it.
- Change your password on a regular basis.
- Use the Exit button to end each online banking session. Do not use the Back button to exit the site.
- Balance your account on a regular basis. Online Banking makes it easy!
