MEMBERS Financial Services' Roth IRA 2.0 Seminar
You've spent years accumulating money for your retirement. But you may have forgotten that the government has a permanent tax lien on those funds and plans to get its share back when you withdraw money in retirement - after the funds have had the potential to increase in value. Fortunately, there's a tax-free investment vehicle that may give you greater flexibility and control of your tax liability in retirement:  the Roth IRA.  Starting in 2010, the rule excluding higher-income households from converting assets to a Roth IRA is eliminated.  So now all investors, regardless of income, can convert their tax-deferred funds and also take advantage of a one-time opportunity to defer the taxes to 2011 and 2012 if the conversion is completed in 2010. Should you convert?  When is the best time?  Would a full or partial conversion strategy work best for your situation?  These are questions you can address at our Roth IRA 2.0 seminar on March 24 at the Affton Community Center. Seminar is from 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm. Reserve your seat today!
