How Do I Join?

1. First, make sure you are eligible to join Neighbors Credit Union; all credit unions have eligibility requirements. To see if you are eligible, access Neighbors Credit Union's Who Can Join? or call 314-892-5400 or 1-800-325-2697.

2. Complete a Membership Application - you can complete a Membership Application now or obtain a Membership Application by visiting one of our branch locations, or by calling and requesting that one be mailed to you.

3. Make a photocopy of your driver's license or state identification. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

4. Open a Regular Savings Account - our members are asked to keep a minimum of $1.00 in a Regular Savings Account. This Savings Account represents your membership and ownership in the credit union. All Savings Accounts are insured and can earn interest. Once you are a member, you can take advantage of our low loan rates, great savings rates, and a full range of affordable financial services.
