Neighbors Credit Union has your back during these uncertain times. Because of the continued spread of COVID-19, Neighbors is providing some peace of mind to all of our members with several relief options. Your financial well-being is our first priority. These offers include:

1.) The Emergency Relief Loan is being made available to all of our members who have been financially affected by COVID-19. We will be offering a loan with special features such as:

          - Rates as low as 2.99% APR1

          - Terms up to 24 months2

          - Up to 90 days with no payments3

- Borrow up to $5,000.001

2.) Auto Loan relief on both new purchases and refinances, including:

           - Having 120 days before your first payment due date4

           - An additional $100 towards a refinance5

3.) If you have investments with us, Neighbors Investment Services can offer advice to you on your investment portfolio.

4.) BALANCE services are available to members, including:

           - Budgeting help

           - Financial advice

Many Americans are being financially affected by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. As businesses close their doors to keep their customers and employees safe, thousands—if not millions—are facing several weeks of pay disruption and infrastructure shake up.

In response to the national emergency, consumers are feeling financially insecure and wondering what it means for their wallet.

What can you do to be financially responsible and vigilant during this time?

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) released five steps consumers should take to exercise financial caution in the face of a global pandemic.

 

Tips to Avoid waiting in a Drive-Up Line. COVID-19 Financial Assistance Request Form Now Available. (Saturday, March 21, 2020)

Some tips to avoid waiting in a drive-up line:

  • ATM - Neighbors Credit Union ATMs accept cash and check deposits 24 hours a day. No holds on cash deposits up to $2,500 available at our ATMs located Downtown, South County, New Halls Ferry, Howdershell, Jennings, Ellisville and Manchester.
  • ITM with Live Agent - Our Interactive Transaction Machines (ITM) with Live Agent are available Monday-Saturday 9:00a.m-7:00p.m., extending our service hours past typically busy times.
  • Night Drop - We are posting deposits and payments every two hours Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Saturday 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. (all branches except Ellisville, Manchester, and NDC)
  • Mobile Deposit - Take a picture of your check to deposit it through our NCUApp for iPhone or Android, all from home!

Just as we have reached out to you last week, we continue to monitor the outbreak and spread of the Coronavirus. Keeping our commitment to service a top priority, Neighbors Credit Union has continued to stay vigilant during ongoing updates. We continue to abide by CDC guidelines.

At this time, Neighbors Credit Union will be closing our lobby services at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020 until further notice. Our branches will remain open for drive-up and other critical services. Despite these lobby closures, we will continue to provide the same level of superior service you have come to expect from us. We always have the best interests of our members and employees in mind and will continue to go above and beyond for our members every day.

We will continue to provide exceptional service to you during our lobby closures. We have many options for you to stay connected to your funds:

As we continue to learn more about the spread of the Coronavirus, Neighbors Credit Union understands that some of our members may have already been negatively affected by the outbreak. As always, providing exceptional service to our members and employees is top priority. Neighbors Credit Union recognizes that we have a responsibility to the members we serve, to every one of our employees, and to the communities where we all live.

We take pride in the neighborhoods we serve, and we stand ready with contingency plans in place to prevent any service disruptions. In addition to maintaining members’ access to their funds, Neighbors Credit Union has put plans in place for alternate working locations for non-affected employees, and protection for our critical operations.

Our employees halted business travel plans and reduced our inter-office/inter-branch travel and interchange of staff as much as possible.
